looking to read something ‘brautigan-ish’?

that’s the question that came thru to the Stranger (from Seattle/Portland USA area) and was answered by Paul Constant in the Books section. He had a few suggestions for what’s brautigan like.

I’m surprised there’s no mention of Tom Robbins as that’s who I always mention first (and know a lot of others do as well). But there’s 9 authors mentioned so lots to have a look at. I’ve only read one of the 9 (Nicholson Baker) & not the book mentioned so I’ve got some reading to do 😉

Who would you add to the list? Have you read these 9 authors?
